On July 3, 2015, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) and World Vision Development Foundation signed an agreement in a bid to encourage more overseas Filipinos to make a difference in the lives of marginalized Filipino children. The two organizations agreed to join forces in tapping overseas donors through the use of their social media platforms and other traditional media. The CFO will link World Vision to its diaspora partners, and campaign for support with Filipino communities abroad during some of its activities abroad.

We, Filipinos overseas, who have ventured to seek greener pasture abroad for our family’s survival some decades ago, and who have subsequently been blessed with success through hard work and diligence, still imbued with a great sense of attachment to our Motherland and to our fellow Filipinos, and desirous of sharing our blessings with the least among our suffering people through medical missions and helping tourism, the economic development and nation-building program of the government, do hereby proclaim our patriotic fervor and sentiment through this Manifesto.
04 June 2015, Ms. Jade Rodriguez of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas facilitated the turnover of the PhP 51,294.00 - worth educational assistance under the Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino (LINKAPIL) Program – Adopt a Scholar Project. The scholarship grant of Ms. Janah Rae Panaligan was sponsored by the Feed the Hungry Inc. through the generosity of Atty. Macaranas.
