DONATIONS FOR VICTIMS OF TYPHOON SENDONG

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas is accepting donations intended for victims of flash floods brought about by Typhoon Sendong in various parts of the country. Per the report of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council as of 21 December 2011, there are about 1,000 casualties, and 1,700 injured. About 65,000 families or 350,000 were affected, 45,000 of which are currently housed in evacuation centers. The cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan suffered the brunt of the disaster.

In the spirit of Bayanihan, we are again knocking on the hearts and doors of overseas Filipinos to support relief operations for victims.  Donations may be sent to the following account of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas:
